FAQ
Do you charge runtime license fees for developer products?
No, we do not charge runtime license fees for developer products.
Do I have to buy a license for each team member?
Yes, in order to keep prices low we have decided to use the prevalent licensing model for .Net components which require you to buy a license for each team member that directly or indirectly uses our products. This allows you to get started with minimal expenses and purchase additional licenses when your team grows.
What is your policy on upgrades?
Minor upgrades are free to all customer who have licensed the major version of a product. Major upgrades will be made available to existing customers at a small fee.
Your Workflow component only supports .Net 2.0. Will there be a 1.1 Edition?
We have designed our workflow component specifically for .Net 2.0. It uses many of the features available, including Generics and is tightly integrated with the .Net 2.0 Reflection and Web Services model. Therefore it is not possible to downgrade the product to .Net 1.1.
Is BPEL4WS supported?
Business Process Execution Language for Web Services is scheduled to be included in the 2.0 release of the Workflow product. Please note that this might change without notice at the sole disgrecion of Neovalis. As of now, it's quite easy to write a wrapper for it if you really need BPEL4WS support.
