Overview

This product gives you easy access to WebDAV and Delta-V compatible servers. As you probably know, WebDAV gained momentum now that Macromedia (tm) has included it into their product suite as a major feature. Using our product you can easily integrate WebDAV capabilities into your applications without having to worry about the subtle difficulties of the protocols involved.

WebDAV

WebDAV stands for Distributed Authoring and Versioning for the Web. It's a set of extensions to the HTTP protocol that allows to upload and manage resources at a server. The protocol is supported by nearly all the major vendors.

Delta-V

Delta-V is an extension to WebDAV that supports versioning and asset control. You can think of it as the SourceSafe (tm) and CVS protocols on stereoids. A free Delta-V capable server is available at http://subversion.tigris.org. Delta-V access can also be rented from several hosting providers.
